From 4 to 29 March 2003
Opening: March 4th, 8.00 pm
In March 2003, Balboa 13 Art Gallery, in Madrid, exhibits the Javier Aoiz Orduna´s recent artwork. This painter presents us a set of still lifes, landscapes and figures on canvas, where light plays an important role, in skillful color combinations, with a sensibility that, more than showing, suggests the reality that forms his universe. He creates spaces through large planes of color, clean and transparent, circumscribed one within the other, creating successful chromatic combinations from which emerge still lives, landscapes or figures. In there, the artist has sought the essence of figuration, freshness and cleanliness of simplicity, in a series of paintings full of winks and references to Morandi and Bores, Estéban Vicente and Guerrero, but also, and above all, Ubeda, Alcalde or Zarco.
