ZAMORA IN PLURAL. Versions and visions of “The Well-Enclosed”

From 5 May 2023 I participate, together with eleven other artists (Norberto, Paco Segovia, Daniel Parra, Carmen Mayor, Licia, Francisco Escalera, Diego Vallejo, Gustavo Hernández, Adrián Marmolejo, Miguel Santos y Navarro Ballarri), in the Collective Exhibition entitled ZAMORA EN PLURAL, organised by Ángel Almedida in ESPACIO 36 Art Gallery, Zamora. It shows twelve different versions and visions with which the painters have represented this wonderful and photogenic city, known by the nickname of “La Bien Cercada”. En ella se muestran doce diferentes versiones y visiones con las que los pintores hemos representado a esta maravillosa y fotogénica ciudad, conocida con el sobrenombre de “La Bien Cercada”. I participate in it with one of my landscapes of this city, entitled ASOMADA AL DUERO IV (2021, acrylic on canvas, 89×116 cm), with the cathedral and the bridge over the Duero river as protagonists. I painted it on the occasion of the exhibition DOS EN SINGULAR (together with my friend the sculptor Arturo Amez), which took place in this Art Gallery in March 2022.
The opening of the exhibition took place on Friday 5th May, at 7:30 pm.
Taking advantage of the fact that the 15th of May is a holiday in Madrid, I made a visit on the day to see the exhibition, enjoy the city and the company of Ángel Almeida and his wife.
