A painting for a retirement
On October 9th, 2024 we were finally able to celebrate the retirement of our dear Carmela Barrio Fronce, friend and colleague at the Tax Agency. We celebrated it with a meal for those of us who were colleagues in the Censuses in the Delegation, back in the nineties of the last century. And we gave her our gift, this picture painted by me: MADRID RÍO 2024 (2024, acrylic on canvas, 38×46 cm), and a copy of “SALA DE ESPERA. Las tribulaciones de Anita la sueca (WAITING ROOM. The tribulstions of Anita the Swede)“, the book with the stories of my friend Arturo AMEZ that I have recently illustrated.
We took some photos of the moment of the delivery of the painting and later, when it was hung in its new home.
Many congratulations, Carmela, long life and prosperity!
