MANZANARES: First Prize in 19th Guadarrama Painting Competition

Last Saturday 27th September, at Cultural Centre La Torre in Guadarrama (Madrid), the awards ceremony of the the 19th Guadarrama Painting Contest in 2003 took place, in which my painting entitled MANZANARES (2003, acrylic on canvas, 150×150 cm), won the First Prize. The event was presided over by the local Vice-Mayor and I was accompanied by some friends and family: Pilar Fernández, Paqui, Jorge, Susana and Jose, Miguel and Ángel, etc. In addition to the economic value of this prize, next year I will hold an Individual Exhibition in Alfonso X El Sabio Cultural House, in this beautiful town near Madrid.
