Javier Aoiz Orduna, the seizure of the fleeting.
Extract from El Punto de las Artes nº722:
“(…) In all his artworks, we can see how colours are the dominant and generating force, with some references to Cezanne’s strokes, with their almost primitive simplicity and strength, or to Fauvism for his enormous freedom in selecting colours, even though it always remains close to reality.
They are visions of an artist who is growing in depth, who is maturing within the freshness and immediacy of his paintings. Summer lights, warm colours for a cold winter.”

Presentation of the catalog “Summer Colours”:
“Javier Aoiz Orduna is dedicated to explain the fugue, to establish pauses. His artworks, which magnify the humble and sublimate the small, are the result of this effort. In them, colour becomes the protagonist and its vibration moves and explains. Colour, not understood as a pre-established code but as an attitude of affinity. Javier Aoiz Orduna is a deep connoisseur of the chromatic laws, he understands them but, above all, he feels them, and he does not rest until the colors coexist in his paintings in a deep relationship of love.
Form and colour interact in his compositions and induce the understanding of vital phenomena and the apprehension of enlightening moments.”
