Last weekend, May 2nd and 3rd, 2015, Alicia Pérez Bayón, Juan, Merche and Santos set up my painting Exhibition entitled SURFACES-COLOURS-SHAPES, in the Manuel Alvar Library in Madrid. In spite of some scares and the difficulties they encountered, the exhibition has turned out really well…
On Tuesday May 5, Alicia and I were with Raul from ARTEENMARCADO, putting some missing frames, including one for the “disappeared” painting: [19] LOS HIGOS (THE FIGS) (2004, acrylic on canvas, 73×60 cm). We were pleasantly surprised by the visit of the painter Guillermo Masedo. Soon, I will hang photos with the people who have come to visit us.
“Surfaces that show us landscapes, still lifes, characters. Canvases that absorb light to create a series of shapes drawn with colours”.
