THREE APPLES II TRAVELS TO REDMOND (WASHINGTON)

Moving the world with creativity
In March 2024, through SINGULART, an art gallery with which I have been collaborating for some years, one of my paintings has been sold: TRES MANZANAS II (THEE APPLE II) (2019, acrylic on canvas, 100×100 cm). It has crossed the Atlantic Ocean and is now in its new home in Redmond (Washington – USA).
It is a still life with landscape where the light coming through the window is the protagonist. A morning breeze sways the curtains and refreshes the room. Over the table, three brightly lit apples and a glass vase with flowers cast their shadows towards the viewer. Behind you can see the urban landscape that I have seen for 25 years in my previous studio in Dehesa De la Villa, Madrid.
This painting won in 2019 the First Prize of the Jury in Social Networks, in the I Concurso de Pintura Interiores Por el Mundo, organised by The Art Gallery Spain. A still life of which I have always felt especially proud and which I have shown during these years in different exhibitions and galleries.
